JAMES R. HOFFA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND 2012-2013 ACADEMIC YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS

Teamsters Local 419 is proud to be a part of this very worthwhile cause.
Some of the requirements include an Academic Record completed by the applicant’s guidance counselor, containing the student’s rank in his or her high school class and bearing the school’s official seal. Attach a list of activities, work experience, distinctions and achievements etc. For full details you must see the Application Form or go on the website.
The deadline for submission entries is March 31, 2012 for students who will be starting University in September 2012. Applicants must be a child or grandchild of a Teamster Member who has been in good standing over the previous twelve (12) months. Entries must be returned to Teamsters Local 419 and signed by the Secretary Treasurer before being forwarded on to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. (RECOMMENDED SUBMITTING COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TO THE SECETARY TREASURER 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE APPLICATION DEADLINE).

General Membership Meeting

Teamsters Local 31 Celebrates its 75th Anniversary

Teamsters Local 419 and its members would like to congratulate our brothers and sisters at Teamsters Local 31, in British Columbia, on their 75th Anniversary. Teamsters Local 31 represents thousands of members in British Columbia and the Yukon in many different industries including truck drivers, rail transportation workers, warehouse workers, public sector workers, courier drivers and more. Teamsters Local 419 would like to congratulate Teamsters Local 31 President Stan Hennessy and the entire executive board on the 75th anniversary.
